Can Plant Viruses be Cured?

This article about the curing of virus which is good for agriculture students is been published in Science reporter Magazine Once a plant gets infected by a virus there is no way to cure that plant. Sometimes due to the plants own defence mechanism symptom recovery is observed but this lumens rarely. Though plants do not have an mediated immune response system like animals and humansthe plants response to the infection may range from a symptomlless comlition to severe disease  they possess a general defense system called RNA silencing which detects and degrades viral RNAs or transcripts To overcome this defense Science reporter the majority of plant viruses encode a protein called suppressor of RNA silencing which inactivates the host defence. Depending on the plant defence and viral pathogenicity  and   in in few cases severity of symptoms can be reducedThere is no rhpmiral or drug available till to cure an infected plant. With proper nutrition and supplement of some ecqential minerals  but under severely infected condition cure is possll)le_However prophylactic am )ligation of different molecules (e.g. ds RNA) has shown pronlising results in preventing plant virus infection which is very useful article which is been in the magazine Science reporter.
