Banking service chronicle published this article page no 16 every year 21st march is observed as world down syndrome day (wdsd). the day is observed in an effort to raise awareness of down syndrome and advocate for the rights inclusion and well-being of people with down syndrome. the date for wdsd was chosen to reflect the trisomic specificity of chromosome 21 which causes down syndrome. down syndrome is named after the british physician john langdon down who first discovered the syndrome in 1866 Banking service chronicle magazine subscription.
